Meet Dr. Nix
Dr. Nix is a board-certified pediatric dentist with a passion for helping children overcome their fear of going to the dentist. Her philosophy is to provide a warm, friendly, and fun experience for you and your family, and to make every dental experience an enjoyable one.
Dr. Nix earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Mississippi State University, and her Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. After graduate school, she attended the University of Mississippi’s School of Dentistry, where she graduated in the top 10 of her class, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. Following dental school, she completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at Batson Children’s Hospital, where she served as chief resident and treated children with various special medical and dental needs, including children with rare syndromes. Dr. Nix is a member of the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American College of Diplomates, and the Mississippi Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
In her spare time, she enjoys doing yard work, baking and eating desserts, drinking coffee, and spending time with her husband and three boys.
Treating children truly brings joy to her life, and she hopes to bring that same joy to the children she treats. Dr. Nix would love to meet your family, and looks forward to welcoming you to the practice!
